How much does Amazon keep? 30 cents per donation plus 2.9% of the donation amount. So if you give me a dollar, Amazon gets 32.9% of the money, or 32.9 cents. I get only 67.1 cents (67.1%). Boo-hoo.
If you give me $10, however Amazon keeps 59 cents and I keep $9.41, or 94.1%. Ahh, that's better.
If you give $100, I keep 96.8%. See, the more you give, the smaller is Amazon's percentage, and I know you don't want to give them a big percentage.
