AmiZilla
The goal of the AmiZilla effort is to raise such an obscene/huge amount of money to give away to the first programmer/team that can port Firefox/Mozilla to Amiga so that Amiga programmers will be falling over themselves getting this application coded in record time. We believe in the Amiga and want it to be successful. We also believe in the Netscape browser and have been using it for years. We were very sad when Microsoft killed this great company and they got sold off to AOL. But Netscape did something before being sold that was the greatest payback. They gave the world the sourcecode to Netscape Communicator! When the sourcecode was released in 1998 we thought for sure it would be ported to the Amiga super fast the way Doom & Quake were. Well it is 2003 and still no Netscape/Mozilla on Amiga OS. So now we are willing to put our money were our mouth is and are offering $2000 to the lucky coder(s) that can send us even a beta of this browser for Amiga OS. You don't have to port the e-mail package or some of the other tools, just the browser portion of Firefox or Mozilla.
