In contrast to the nearby Delaware and Raritan Canal towpath, which is quite flat, this route uses rolling doubletrack (watch out for the groundhog holes!) as well as narrow singletrack with occasional trail obstacles and possible shallow water crossings. ... NOTE: Maintenance on the trail at Six Mile Run Reservoir seems ro havw been a hit-or-miss affair of late.
