Washington Crossing State Park

Washington Crossing State Park, a well known historical destination, only recently has opened some of its trails to mountain bikes. The park-designated bike route begins at the Phillips Farm area off Route 579 (Bear Tavern Road). There are several farm buildings adjacent to the parking lot. To find the trail, go behind the buildings and look for a brown trail sign. A green-and-white trail sign should be visible in the distance where the field ends and the woods begin. This ride is rated as moderate because of the singletrack section. Both the road and grassy paths are suited for the casual rider. ...
